James L. Graham papers 1833-1847

James Lorimer Graham (1804-1882) was an American lawyer specializing in real estate. He was president of the Metropolitan Insurance Company in New York City. Collection consists of printed volume, 1841, containing Graham's statement of case concerning lease of properties in New York City from Peter G. Stuyvesant to Chief Justice Samuel Jones in 1833. Also, letter, 1847, written by Graham.
